    The MSO is a region-wide symphony orchestra serving the Yosemite area. Mariposa is considered to be the smallest town in all America with its own symphony orchestra.

Regional Visual Artist Database

Take the survey to be included today! The Mariposa Arts Council is developing a database of regional visual artist to support artists, arts education and creative placemaking efforts. This database will help teachers and students connect with regional artists and exist as a comprehensive digital resource for future project building.

We are excited to announce that on August 17, 2021, the Mariposa County Board of Supervisors adopted the Mariposa County Creative Placemaking Strategy: A framework for art and design to promote both a more resilient rural economy, and a more inclusive, representative, and diverse set of stories about our community.
