Art + Community Grant Program

Piloting in Spring 2024, the Art + Community grant program, funded by the County of Mariposa, supports artists and grassroots organizations using art projects and cultural programming to achieve community goals or serve, uplift and represent underserved populations in Mariposa County. Grant applications are open April 8 – April 29, 2024

Working Lands, Working Artists

The Mariposa County Arts Council and Mariposa County Planning Department are seeking regional social practice artists to develop 1-2 public-facing creative placemaking projects connected to timber and forest land. Projects will be located at Midpines County Park and may support a budget range from $5,000-$25,000. Letters of Intent (LOI) may be submitted Nov. 9 – 24, 2023.
