Tree Mortality: Local Artists Reflect
Over the past three years, Mariposa’s beautiful forests have suffered tremendous loss as tens of thousands of trees have died as a result of California’s drought, radically changing our county’s vistas and landscapes. This dramatic change has not been lost on our region’s artists and this exhibition provided an opportunity for them to reflect and share their thoughts on this devastating ecological phenomenon.
Alongside other featured summer artists, the Tree Mortality exhibition ran April 28 – July 14, 2017.
