Now Recruiting: Arts Council Board Members
The Mariposa County Arts Council is currently accepting applications for new members of our Board of Directors.
Our Board is the organization’s governing body and guides the mission, strategy, and sustainability of the organization while ensuring the Arts Council authentically represents the community it serves.
We are seeking community members who believe in the power of arts and culture to strengthen rural communities and who want to contribute their ideas, perspectives, and leadership.
Board commitments include:
- Four board meetings annually
- One annual retreat
- Service on one or two committees (meeting 4–6 times per year)
Committees include:
- Executive
- Finance
- Governance
- Nominating
- Community Engagement / Fund Development
Application
Applications are open through May 15. New board members will be selected after the application process has closed and welcomed in June.
We strongly encourage applications from people representing the many communities, cultures, and perspectives that make up Mariposa County.
Before starting the application, we recommend that you review the list of questions and prepare your answers.
