Award applications available
The Mariposa County Arts Council is giving its annual $500 award to a graduating high school senior residing full time in Mariposa County. The applicants will be evaluated on the contribution they have made to the visual, performing, or media arts, through the Mariposa County Arts Council’s programs or through other arts involvement in the community.
All applicants must complete the application form, including a letter of recommendation from someone who is able to substantiate the student’s contribution to the arts. Deadline for applications is Friday, May 31 by 4 p.m.
The completed application and accompanying letter of recommendation must be submitted to the Arts Council’s office at 5009 Highway 140 (on the top floor of Chocolate Soup). Hours are Monday -Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Applications may be mailed to the Mariposa County Arts Council office at P.O. Box 2134 Mariposa, CA 95338.
