Register for Spring Break Day Camp

Spring Break Art + Nature Day Camp Registration is now open. Mariposa Arts Council and Sierra Foothill Conservancy offer place-based arts and nature day camps for students TK-6th grade during the spring and summer, in partnership with local organizations and education facilities. Registration for the Spring Break Art + Nature Day Camp opens February 23 and closes March 6.

We warmly welcome you to ‘All Things Pass’, a collection of student artwork from In Frame 2026 at Mariposa County Library from February 20th to March 20th. Each in their own way, students ages 11 – 18 created art that spoke to the practicalities and metaphors of the phrase ‘All Things Pass’. Stop by the library and enjoy the gallery of local talent!

Arts in Corrections Chapbook available now

Arts in Corrections Chapbook available now

Copies of the third volume of our Arts in Corrections chapbook are available on our website or in person at our office, Uncle Bingo’s Skate Shop, Set Free Thrift, and the Mariposa Library. These books feature original creative writing and pencil-shaded drawings produced by program participants currently in custody at the Mariposa County Jail. All proceeds from chapbook sales will go directly toward purchasing art curriculum materials for the Mariposa Jail Library.
