F/STOP Exhibition 2015

FSTOP Opening Invitation 2015

The F/STOP photography program is aimed at Mariposa residents over the age of 55. Images from this exhibition comes from a series of free, 4-week digital photography classes focused on the artistic elements of photography and is designed to promote creativity, self-expression, and increase comfort with digital technology. New this year, in addition to offering introductory classes, there were classes for returning participants who wished to further explore the art of photography while beginning to build a body of personal work.

Classes were held at four partnering locations in Mariposa County: the Mariposa Senior Activity Center, the Mariposa County Library, the John C. Fremont Healthcare District, and the Red Cloud Library in Greeley Hill.

Generous support for this program comes from the County of Mariposa, the California Arts Council, a state agency, and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
